11-25-2025I rented a unit at this Public Storage location at the beginning of October. When I returned on Wednesday, November 19th, I discovered that the lock on my unit had been changed. Once they removed the lock, it became clear that someone had broken into my unit and stolen nearly everything I had stored there including power tools, bins, clothing, and jewelry. Public Storages response was basically nothing. They washed their hands of the situation immediately. No explanation, no accountability, no follow-up, and no effort to help. All I was told was, Thats why you have insurance. Since then, theyve been essentially radio silent. When I called the police to file a report, the responding officer told me that two other units had also been broken into at this same location earlier that day. After reviewing other customer reviews, it turns out this is a pattern at this facility. Break-ins are common here, and security is extremely poor. There are no cameras inside the building where the interior hallway units are located. The only cameras on-site are outside, which means if you rent an interior unit there is zero surveillance and no way to monitor who is accessing the hallways. Staffs idea of security is simply checking whether a lock is present, not whether the lock is actually yours or whether anyone has tampered with the unit. If you plan to store anything valuable here, understand that it is not safe and not protected. Public Storage offers no real security, takes no responsibility when theft occurs, and will ultimately tell you everything is at your own risk. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value your belongings.

We were helping my mom move out of her unit, and Susanna was there from start to finish checking in on us, helping whenever we hit a snag, and making sure everything went smoothly. She truly went above and beyond, and her friendliness made a stressful day so much easier. Highly recommend this location and especially Susanna for her amazing customer service!
