Burien Storage Units Next To Sea-Tac Airport

Burien Public Storage provides the answer for anyone looking for self storage space right near Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

Directly west of Sea-Tac Airport on Des Moines Memorial Drive between 1st Avenue and SR 509 is where local residents, businesses and travelers will find plenty of cheap storage units in all different sizes.

Grab an individual storage locker to keep a few small items stored away, from important papers to small electronics or family keepsakes.

Want to keep spare luggage, backpacks and other travel essentials within reach of the airport? A 5x5 storage unit is one of many smart storage solutions at this facility.

Whether it's a single-family home in Normandy Park or a condo near Burien's Town Square, a little extra storage space can go a long way at home. Take advantage of a 10x30 storage unit for larger loads, including appliances, furniture, kayaks, paddleboards and other oversized items that are taking up too much space.

Looking for somewhere next to the airport to store a car, truck, SUV or motorcycle? Besides all of the indoor storage units and outdoor storage units, there are also tons of vehicle storage options at this location, including spaces for RV storage and boat storage too.

Moving boxes and moving supplies are sold inside the rental office, which is open 7 days a week. The storage area features gated key-code access and the manager lives on site, bringing extra peace of mind to the storage process.

Living in the greater Seattle area has so much to offer. Unfortunately, extra space isn't always one of them – especially in the neighborhoods around one of the world's busiest airports. When it's time to move in, pack up or just declutter, head over to this Burien Public Storage for cheap storage rentals any time of the year.

We had the worst experience at this location. We have just spent the last few days cleaning out a rat infested mess. All of our items are ruined and we had to have a garbage disposal company come clean out our unit. 1. We along with multiple other unit renters on our row (We were all there on the same day) discovered that there had been moisture buildup and we had all found evidence of rats, mice and sugar ants. We had no food in our unit but later discovered they were bringing food in through the back wall holes and living in our unit. The food they brought in attractedthe ants. At first we just found rat feces on the ground and immediatelyattempted to complain but for almost 3 weeks no matter what time we stopped by the office, nobody was there and calls were never answered. We couldn't move anything out until we made a formal complaint per the insurance policy so we had to wait and things progressively got worse. We finally made contact and made thecomplaint and were just told they were sorry. We asked if there was anything they could do to support us. We were told by the office that we could just submit an insuranceclaim but it was out of their hands. No offer to set traps, no offer to move units, no offer to comp us a month. And our neighborssaid the same whichtells us they knew there was a problem and didn't care. The units next to us are still empty. We began the insurance claim and a few days later saw a $25.00 credit to our account from Public Storage. We had thousands of dollars of nice furniture stored and the rats ate through all protective coverings as well and they credited$25.00. The best part of the $25.00 credit was shortly after, our rent was raised by 50.00. 2. We learned from Orange Door themselves that the larger plan only covers up to 5,000 for natural disasters. (Flood, tree falling, earthquake etc) All other damage is covered under the secondary plan with a cap of $250.00 and a $100 deductible so you only get $150.00 dollars. I understand that this was in the fine print but what a joke of a plan. Our whole furnishings for our house we are moving into was in there and it is unsalvageable. A garbage disposal company had to come get rid of so much of our stuff. We have to start over and lost thousands upon thousands of dollars and the only thing this Public Storage offered was $25.00. If they would have just tried to make it right when we first came by offering a monthscredit or to try to fix the rat issue we could have met in the middle and consider a move to a different unit but they just didn't care and offered nothing. There was no effort to help. Even when I gave verbal feedback we were leaving and they finally. offered a different unit, we were just told "we are sorry that happened". I would never suggest using this place to store your belongings after what we went through. I've added photos (view at your own risk for proof).
