UPDATE July 2025 BEWARE! For the past year our experience with Public Storage has been horrible! I have called the local and several other numbers I have been provided, including the Public Storage Main number, who provided the Customer Service number, who provided the We Care number, who provided the new We Care number. Today after speaking with one of the we care team I requested to speak with a manager and was without a word put on hold. After waiting on hold for another ten (10) minutes the call was disconnected by the we care representative! Through all of the hours I have spent on the phone trying to get assistance I have pieced together that in mid 2024 Public Storage Corporate decided to layoff the onsite employees and only employ one area manager who bounces between several locations. So now if you need assistance, for example, you need to use one of the moving carts, which used to be available in each building, you now have to call the area manager and make an appointment with them to meet you at the location of your storage unit. That is IF you can actually reach them! If they do not pickup the phone when you call your location you can leave a message, but when they might call back is a mystery. Or I was told by the area manager that I could call the other locations in their area to find them SERIOUSLY?! Additionally, all of the exterior door locks to each of the buildings are broken, so although the main gate is locked and your unit is locked, the security is extremely compromised! I have brought this up each time I have called and was told that it secure enough and it would cost too much to repair/replace the locks. So during the day there is rarely an employee at each location. At night, when the buildings are supposed to be locked, they are wide open! Despite the layoffs and not keeping the properties up and secure, they continue to increase the rental fee every three (3) months, according to them based on the local availability. However, when I called to ask what the current rental price and availability, for the exact same type of unit, it was $100 less per month than my current monthly fee. When I called them on the lie I was told I could only get the lower price if I was a new renter or I rent a new unit, exactly like my current one, and move my items into the new unit, to get the introductory rental rate. So they may treat new customers well, but BEWARE, as after three (3) months you are no longer a new renter and you are going to start paying out the nose! And dont count on your items being safe! Yes, we pay a monthly fee for rental insurance, in addition to the rental fee, to Public Storage. Avoid Public Storage if at all possible!!! The information below was provided in 2024, prior to the corporate layoffs and sending their customer service work overseas. .. Lacie is awesome!!! It is so great to walk into a business and be welcomed by a nice and knowledgeable customer service representative!!! Lacie helped us determine our options for our immediate and future needs. It was so refreshing to talk with a CSR that is a people person, which has become more and more rare. We will adjust our visits to our unit as much as possible to when she is in the office. We also appreciate the clean environment and use of a cart to move items in and out of our unit. Will definitely keep recommending this location. Thank You, Lacie!!!

Price went from $90 to $194 in two years. I can rent the same unit today from this location for $1 first month and $57 a month after that. I understand move in specials to attract residents when occupancy is low, but the constant large price increases for current tenants are absurd. Competitors have the same unit for $60 - $80 per month with less frequent price increases according to research Ive compiled. Time to go!

Kelly was great getting me set up with my storage unit to store a vehicle. She was very helpful and explained the process for the facility very well. The price is right at the present time but past reviews do complain about quick and often price increases for current customers so there may be a future review about the companies policies for pricing. This review is about customer service setting up a unit and it was excellent!
