For self storage in the Canyon Gate neighborhood, this Las Vegas Public Storage is definitely a winner.
Just about four miles west of I-15 and less than two miles south of U.S. Highway 95, it's hard to miss this facility on the south side of Charleston Boulevard one block east of Rainbow Boulevard, with a large selection of cheap storage units in different sizes.
Need a small storage space near the College of Southern Nevada? A 5x5 storage unit at this location is the perfect choice.
Converting a guest bedroom into a home office in a house near Bonanza High School? A 10x10 storage unit can accommodate a king-size mattress, bedframe, desk, chair and bookcase with no problem at all.
For even larger storage needs, such as a family packing up a five-bedroom home in Canyon Gate ahead of a major home remodel, a 10x30 storage unit can easily hold everything inside the house, appliances included.
Customers who want to pull a vehicle right up to their rental will love the outdoor storage units with drive-up access, while the indoor storage units provide the comfort of entry from inside the building. In addition, there are climate controlled storage units for an added layer of comfort during the storage process.
Storage needs can pop up at any time, in any size. That's why Public Storage is open 7 days a week with plenty of storage solutions to tackle any load.
Lei is the best
Booked online, simple process went ok. I paid for a next day move in. Get my confirmations then I notice the hours of operation. 6 am. To 6 pm. ! I'm like are you for real? All the other public storages are 6 to 9 pm so I go through the ringer on the phone trying to talk to a real person and I explain to them once I do that I need to transfer to another public storage 3:blocks down the street because I can't live with these hours. The device rep tells me not to be concerned all Public Storages are 6am to 9pm. A little sceptical I end my call with the rep and go the next day (Sunday the 22nd of Jan) and it gets worse from there. First off I get there at 4:00 pm. To unload and spend 20 mins walking around trying to find my unit. When I do find it I roll open the door to find the lick I paid for that they confirmed would be in the unit. Well it wasn't and I had to get the equipment out of my car so I haul butt get it unloaded figure I would have enough time to run to Walmart and buy a lock before they close and it's now 5:10 pm. I just unloaded over $3500.00 worth of tools and supplies into this unit. I get to the gate and it says the place is closed? It wouldn't open per the app but did open using my code. Here's the real problem they close at 5:00 pm on the weekends I just find out the hard way. This is ridiculous period fo storage hours and I'm all over the phone again wanting no needing to transfer to another location down the street that has realistic hours. I'm told that to do so I will lose the admin. Fees? This is also stupid when that fee. Was 29.00 and they didn't even do much as put the lock I paid for in the unit like their email said they did. The only reason I gave them 3:stars is because they didn't lie , yes it was a public storage alright. That's one star. Next is the place was clean, that's two stars. And the third and last star was a friggin mistake I accidently hit 3 instead of 2. Now tomorrow I'm going to complain all the way to corporate if need be requesting a transfer to another public storage. Without losing this fee. so what I really want is the owner to respond to my review in a positive timely manner telling me he is sorry for his lazy manager who can't even provide my lock and that yes these hours are ridiculous and that he will gladly grant my wish for everybody out there in review land to see. if he does he can keep the 3 rd star in my rating.
Run leave dont give them any of your money. Got robbed twice and they dont do anything about it or care. Dirty facilities, no one ever there, broken cameras !!! Your stuff is not safeeeee get out now the insurance company is a joke too!!! this location needs to be investigated
My experience was absolutely awful. I can't even begin to imagine how Public Storage runs their business this way. The set up was easy I did it online, a man called me on Sunday to confirm my move in & said okay we will see you then. Doesn't that mean that a human will see me then? Why confirm if no one is going to be there anyway? So me and a coworker, my moving truck and $150 hr moving company came with me. No one in the office so i call the # on the door, where I am told that the property manager comes back every 20 minutes. Then she tells me to go online and fill out a paper i had already filed out and that I would get a code to my email after a few minutes. It seemed to take a very long time to get that information so while i was waiting I notice a man go into the apartment connected to the office, and I ask him, hey do you work here? No I just live here, the guy that worked here quit. I don't know what they are going to do. I got a map of the place with my code. Where the heck is it written that B143 is even on the map at all? Its not. Then I needed a code that wouldn't work to get in the building, another client of PS helped me get in or else I would have wasted more time, you wasted my time and my money.
Put a dolly or two at each door!! We pay to much to struggle its common practice at every other place
