02-28-2024Before you read, on my last day, two other occupants also had to throw away their belongings due to the rat infestation this location has. So its not just my unit. I visited my unit after 4 months and all of my items were destroyed from rodent droppings and pee. Horrific smell came from my unit. I had to throw away all of my items. Sadly many things had sentimental value. When I went to the office to notify the attendant what occurred and to borrow a broom, Sam, offered me the broom, but didnt bother to say hey, if you have insurance you can put in a claim. I wouldve done that as a customer service rep. Also, I had to put all of the rat infested items into my car because theres no dumpsters and I wouldve been charged a fee for them to take care of it. Additionally and Unfortunately, I forgot I had insurance so I didnt take photos of anything because I thought it was my problem. I am now, wish me luck, filing a claim. If you decide to get a unit, get insurance and take a before n after picture. Also, Ive attached a photo of a text to prove my claim and a photo of the floor from all of the rodent poop and pee. Thanks for reading.
