03-05-2026This was one of the worst storage unit experiences of my life and it got progressively worse as the day went on. First, there is absolutely no parking for an RV when you get here to check in so you have to park in a lot across the street. Not that bad so far. At check-in, Cassie tried to help me as best she could, but unfortunately that wasnt much. So then I got back in my car, drove down the road to where the facility was but Ince I arrived, there was a dumpster in my spot. So I called Cassie and they had someone come try and move it. After over an hour of trying, which I commend the guy for, it was unsuccessful and they had to call another guy. So now its about 2 hours into my adventure with Extra Space and we are still at square one. They told me they wont be able to move the dumpster until later. They didnt know what time later, but later. So I was told to park it next to the fence until they could move the dumpster. So I tried to do that and as I was trying to squeeze it between the dumpster and the fence, which I knew wasnt going to work, I got too close to the dumpster and it ended up pushing my camper corner panel in. This whole thing had been a total disaster and now Im almost 3 hours into it and still sitting in my truck waiting for them to move a dumpster. But now I have a messed up camper. I would not recommend ANYONE who values their time or money, come here.
