Our Carmichael Public Storage facility is conveniently located on on Fair Oaks Blvd, just below Lincoln Avenue and north of Ancil Hoffman Park and the American River. It is southeast of American River College.
We have a variety high-quality storage units for rent, so you can feel confident you'll find one that fits your needs. Our location near North Ridge Country Club makes our 5x10 storage units an ideal choice for golfers who want to store extra clubs, bags, shoes, and more. The 5x10 storage unit is also good for books, out-of-season clothes, important documents, and more.
Our versatile, popular 10x10 storage unit is perfect for storage needs that include furniture, for customers who need to store the equivalent of a one to two-bedroom apartment. We even have packing supplies like boxes, bubble wrap, and tape to make your move that much simpler.
The 10x20 storage unit is best for large hauls, giving our customers plenty of space to store a two- to three-bedroom house. That includes couches, beds, coffee tables, dressers, and large kitchen appliances. And to keep you from throwing out your back or hurting your knees, we offer a selection of outdoor storage units with drive-up access. 11-02-2025So I wasn't planning on moving today, opened up the unit and saw rat droppings on my stuff . They just charged me today. 5x5' actually not the publicity displayed price of $20 or whatever lie is there. Need to add in Mandatory insurance, my fee was $66 For a 5'x 5' unit, right behind the exit keypad . Make up your own mind but big corporations suck.

10-14-2025My unit was burgled and they have almost no cameras there. Said it happens a lot so I dont know why they wouldnt put up more as theyre so cheap these days. Then they raised the rent. Manager is a nice guy though.

07-12-2025This is the best maintained public storage that I've found in the area... There's another very close to this one and the roll up doors are very difficult to open. The doors glide up easily here.... The manager is friendly and easy to talk to.... He also is knowledgeable as well as professional , but he's very down to earth.

07-11-2025The phone sales agent told me that the unit I was booking was the closest Public Storage facility to my house. It was not. After paying over the phone, I arrived at the unit and the pathways were almost too narrow to navigate my truck and trailer through. I called back and asked an agent for some help. She said that if I switch to the facility closer to my house, then I would lose the money I paid over the phone. I went to the office before unloading my trailer and asked if I could get a unit closer to the front gate. He told me if did, then I would lose the discounted rate I signed up for. Not the best customer service. Update: I found out that the corporate call center was to blame for these issues and the local public storage facility was not at fault. I got a call from Camila at the local facility and she did her best to help me out. Now I know to do my homework before I book a unit to be sure Im getting what I asked for.
