Storage units in Midtown Kansas City are located between W. Armour Boulevard and W. 34th Street in the heart of the Old Hyde Park Historic District. Cheap storage comes in a wide range of sizes that include climate controlled storage units. We are located less than a mile from Penn Valley Park, which was once traversed by pioneers heading west along the Santa Fe Trail.
Artists living near the Art Institute, Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art or Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art can store canvas and stretcher bars and other supplies in a 5x5 storage unit. Stash away anything that clutters up space in your home studio.
Metropolitan Community College students can store year-round recreational gear in a 5x10 storage unit. Behind the things you go to all the time, pack in off-season clothing and equipment.
If you are renting out your place short-term, store two rooms worth of belongings in a 5x15 storage unit while you are on the road or residing elsewhere.
Residents sharing a place at Del Monte or 3435 Main Street apartments nearby with duplicate furniture can store couches, coffee tables, dining sets and kitchen equipment in a 10x10 storage unit until needed again. Tuck in off-season clothing and holiday decor as well.
A 10x15 storage unit will easily accommodate bikes, canoes and kayaks if you don't have a garage or want to clear yours out to get the cars back inside. This long storage rental is capable of storing four rooms full of furnishings.
Homeowners surrounding Gillham and Hyde parks planning a renovation project can store five rooms of furnishings in a 10x20 storage unit while the updates and repairs are underway.
Old Hyde Park is known for its mix of architectural styles, and the storage facility is no exception. The building's unique features reveal its past. The large glass windows date from its previous incarnation as a car dealership's showroom. A plaque reveals that Dial soap was invented here when the building was owned by the meat-packing firm Armour & Company.
But the location's most notorious architectural features are its facades. False fronts include an apartment building on W. Armour and townhouses all along Baltimore Avenue. The Old Hyde Park Historic District's neighborhood association wanted the commercial building to blend seamlessly into the residential streets during an expansion in the late 1990s.
Drive by and see if you are fooled as so many are by the convincing facades.

If you care about your property, and wallet, stay away from this filthy place. Hidden fees, and the managers don't care about your belongings. Basement flooded and many customers lost their belongings. So many other decent places, why choose this filth.
