04-06-2026I will NEVER store w/ Public Storage again. My wife called Customer Service & requested that the April 1st rent be waived as we moved out on March 31st. Because my wife went to the storage unit to ensure I moved everything out on April 1st and used the gate access code, they denied my waived request. Ive now communicated this to both only my mother-in-law and 2 additional family members who have storage w/ you. My mother-in-law alone pays over $400 monthly in rent for her 10x20. YOU JUST LOST HER BUSINESS. We will be moving her out by April 29th and moving her to your competitor. In addition, my 2 other family members will also be moving out and going with your competitor as they pay something like $200 each for their storage. You just LOST over $800 monthly in long-term storage because you refused to honor my request to waive $81.00 for my move-out. My wife thought we had until April 1st before the office opened to ensure the storage was cleared out. You had NO GRACE on us. We will make sure WE NEVER RENT w/ Public Storage and will encourage ALL MY FAMILY & FRIENDS to move out of their current unit with you or to never rent with Public Storage. Congratulations! YOUR GREED & UNKINDNESS HAS LOST SO MUCH BUSINESS. And let me add, my wife was planning on getting her own storage unit (10x10) for her photobooth business w/ the added 24 hour gate access. NOPE! NOT ANYMORE!!!!
