This Lakewood Public Storage is at the intersection of Union Boulevard and Cedar Drive, one block north of Alameda Avenue.
Catering to customers on the west side of Denver, this Union Square location is easily accessible from Highway 6 and Interstate 70 and features an array of storage unit sizes. There are individual storage locker rentals, perfect for holding just a few personal items, as well as large 10x30 foot units for the contents of an entire home during a big move.
Sitting just up the street from Denver Federal Center, customers can store boxes, luggage sets, tools and electronics in a 5x5 foot unit, while skis, snowboards and sports equipment can easily fit in a 10x10 foot unit.
Heading up the network of trails at nearby William F. Hayden Park on Green Mountain? Grab a smaller unit to store hiking gear year-round.
When space gets tight for local businesses up and down 6th Avenue or Kipling Street, a 10x20 foot unit is the perfect solution to empty out a crowded workspace.
Hard to believe that Lakewood once began as nothing more than a 13-block development in the late 1800s. Now, a multiple-year winner of the prestigious All-America City Award, Lakewood continues to thrive thanks to its evolving residential and commercial development.
It is Public Storage's honor to serve the Lakewood and Jefferson County community with cheap storage options.
I showed up juuuuuust before close and tugged on the door to find it locked but I could see associates inside. I wasn't going to harass them over a few minutes on a Saturday evening so I continued on with the process on my phone. Then, to my surprise. The door was opened by a kind man with a large build sporting an even bigger smile. He told us we could get it all done online as I panically smiled back while gathering his info about the rental. By the end of it the process was so easy that I thought I did something wrong or missed a step.
Had a good first experience talked to 2 managers Antonio and Alex. Both were very professional and friendly. Both explained fees and conditions. So far so good.
Sean and John were really friendly and helpful when trying to figure out how to get set up! Definitely recommend!
Rotten customer service when you call the main customer service line. Many times you cannot get transferred to the management office at the physical location where your storage unit is located when you press 4 through the automated phone system. There has been no one in the management office at all during hours of operation lately. Where are the office employees? Also, building G needs more elevators. Some of the people utilizing these units at this location are rude and unpleasant, leaving their trash in the elevators and holding the elevators hostage when you have movers moving your belongings out.
Time of opening is wrong
Alex, was one of the most excellent customer service representatives that I have worked with not in just Public Storage, but in general. Every question I had he hadnt answer to and was super nice and showed us the units. We wanted to know and gave us every bit of information that we asked so we can make the best choice. I met Julie today and she was also super super kind and helped us navigate our way exactly to where we needed to go for our storage unit. I would highly recommend using this location for storing anything. And check online for promotional deals. All in all six star experience.
