09-04-2023Increasing rates with a broken exit door. Exterior doors are not locked overnight. Easily double the rate of nearby storage units, before the most recent rate increases. In just over a year I've had a unit there, I have only seen the exit door work correctly for maybe 3 months. If you want a discount because the door is broken and you cannot exit properly, turn off auto payments they'll call you to see if you're moving out, then issue a $10 a month discount for 3 months. Otherwise, you have to call either the customer service corporate or a general manager. GM won't call you back, it's a hassle for $25 off from the corporate customer service. I've wanted to move out for over 3 months but with the exit door broken that entire time, I can't get a large vehicle with trailer in there to load my things out. I intentionally rented at a place that had a PULL THROUGH loading area, but it's constantly unusable. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! IT IS A RIP OFF.
