Very unhappy and unsatisfied customer. I moved into this unit I believe in October. We moved out of it at the end of December. Removed all of our things and lock. I forgot to call to inform the office of the move out. So on the 3rd of January when my auto pay didn't go thru, the office called me. I apologized to her and then informed her that we had moved out of the unit. I asked her to remove me from the auto pay. She said she would. She asked if we removed lock and I said yes. Then I get charged rent on the 6th of January for the rent anyway. So I call the office and was told it was because we left our lock on the unit door. I assured her that we did no such thing. I asked her to remove charge, remove us from auto pay again and move us out. Called 3 more times thru the month about the refund only to get the run around. Next thing I know, I got charged again for February rent. I've now called the office 3 times leaving messages. I've called customer service 4 or 5 times. They told me that they were "escalating" my issue to management immediately and a manager would contact me within 24 hours. That was over a week ago. I've called twice since then. NOTHING. So I'm not at the point of going to the BBB as well as consumer affairs. And anyone else I can think of. These people are ridiculous. As someone who has actually worked In the storage industry for over 10 years, I can tell you without a doubt that this is not how you treat customers. Their customer service and managers are a joke. So I'm advising you now if you do rent from them, beware of the autopay option. Because they will get you!
I was looking to save some money and move storage units, Michelle made everything so easy and saved me from a lot of back breaking work. 10/10 would recommend storing here.
I walked into Public storage and I spoke to a very kind woman, Lizzy. When asked for help, she was quick to come to our aid, and when I asked questions she was quick to answer with a warm smile. I would recommend this facility to other and I thank Mrs. Lizzy for all her hard work and care.
Can I just say Lonnie is awesome?! The customer service was impeccable. I was truly impressed. No one expects to be wowed when moving into a storage facility. Because who actually enjoys moving anyway?! Well, I try to give credit where is due and this experience was great. Oh, the facility is great as well. I was really impressed with the courtesy and professionalism here.
