Storage Units Near Rt 9A and Downtown Yonkers
Just minutes from the heart of Yonkers, this Public Storage facility near downtown is a great place to store extra furniture and countless other home and office belongings between moves or for keeping items longer term when space runs out. Getting here is a piece of cake thanks to a variety of main routes, including 9A, 9, the 87 highway, and Saw Mill River Road. All the restaurants, entertainment and trains of downtown Yonkers are just a short drive or bus ride away, too.
There is climate-controlled storage in all units – that's more than 1,400 in total, almost all of which are indoors. So rain, snow, or shine, loading or unloading is no sweat. There is key-card access and a unique password to get to the storage area. For gracious assistance, a live-in manager is here to help with anything in a New York minute. The store on site sells locks, boxes tape and more packing supplies.
Students, retirees, and everyone in between will be delighted to find cheap storage units in a place that fits their needs. Among other sizes, there are 5x10 foot and 10x10 foot units to accommodate any need. Yonkers is known for its Saw Mill River restoration project, visible from Van Der Donck Park at Larkin Plaza. After covering the river with concrete to control flooding in the 1920s, an effort to restore the scenic stretch was successful and the river was brought above ground again in 2011.

01-30-2024I closed out a unit within 24 hrs. They told me I was going to get a refund within 5 days. And now customer service said I'm not getting a refund $200 down the drain. And I was with them for 2 years and no exceptions she told me.

12-18-2023This place is the worst. You call them l!! they hang up the phone. you call them 20 times and theyll hang up the phone or send you to voicemail. there never anybody at the location. The door will Have a sign that says open, but the doors are locked. I dont know if people dont want to work there or they go on long breaks or what the case is!! But whoever the owner is, you should put your workers on check. Nobody wants to answer the phone and the place is closed during working hours.
