08-23-2024Nancy gave us a great tour of the facility and answered all of our questions promptly and with great detail. She was very informative and made the process of renting a unit very easy. The facility is very clean and appears to be very secure. We chose this facility without hesitation. You are not forced to purchase their lock however they do have locks for purchase that helps if you did not bring your own.

08-15-2024I should have just gone into the office first. After speaking to 3 people at the call center who did not communicate with eachother;turning a 30 minute process into a two day circus, Tabitha (vogle road manager) saved the day. Thank you Tabitha. Now for the corporate issue....which I fear will only be answered as a generic "we are sorry to hear you had a......". The price was far below any other unit nearby but that is because they not only charge the typical admin fee ($29) but you can not finalize payment until they add on another charge ($19.99) for the lock they put in each unit, even if you already have the same lock. YOU ARE FORCED TO PURCHASE IT. The website does not disclose this until you are on the payment page where you get a shock at seeing the ACTUAL balance. At this point it finally reveals that you will be REFUNDED (I repeate...REFUNDED) the $19.99 charge if you return the lock unopened. After making a special trip to return the lock to the main office we are THEN infirmed that the $19.99 is given back as a credit on your next months bill. I know Tabitha is only following corporate policy and her hands are tied and let me say again just how much she helped us with and made it easy. This type of "hook and bait" seems to be the norm in the states now (and especially with this sector) and it puts your front line employees in the direct path of the angry consumer. The Evansville facilities are CLEAN and Tabitha is great but corporate needs to address this hidden fee and the outright lies we were told by the call center and the website pay page. I DID NOT AGREE TO HAVE THIS FEE CREDITED TO MY FUTURE PAYMENTS.
