01-05-2024Robin the property manager, is very unprofessional and rude. I received a phone call from her saying I needed to provide a second lock on the other door to my storage unit. When we moved in we were told we needed to provide one lock. The other lock was never mentioned, and was on the other door already locked and we were not provided with the key or any notice to change it. I have been in this storage unit for almost 6 months and it was never a problem until now that she is about to get audited and doesnt want to get introuble for a mistake they have made. We rented one storage unit, didnt ask for 2 doors to the same unit, and was assigned this unit without knowledge of the 2 doors. Why would we have to pay for 2 locks when we pay for one storage unit? Instead of just offering to provide us a new lock, She argued saying we chose the unit with 2 doors. We moved here from Arizona and had the storage unit booked online, it said NOTHING about 2 doors and was randomly assigned this unit. It also has not been a problem for the 6 months we have been renting the unit there until now, right before they get audited and per her words, will be dinged for our unit having one of their locks.. She should provide the second lock at no charge, since we did not ask for 2 doors to our one storage unit. And these 2 doors are extremely inconvenient anyways, they cut off most of the door space to fit items and make things difficult. Robin did not try to be helpful on this situation at all. I will be filing a complaint with Public Storage on Robin about this situation.
