07-29-2026UPDATE: I actually moved in to my storage unit yesterday and had the opportunity to engage with Christina who was running the show that day. This was kinda cool because a couple weeks ago when I was searching for storage, she actually helped me at a different Parker ES location that unfortunately did not have the storage size I needed. Rather than just letting me slip out and look elsewhere, she suggested I looked at a nearby Extra Space location that ended up having the exact space I needed. Nice job on her part to find what I needed and also keeping my business in the ES family. Another great experience, thank you!! ___________________________________________________________ This is my third Extra Space Storage facility I've utilized. It wasn't my intention to ever need storage but life had other plans. Extra Space in general has always provided a clean, climate controlled environment to store my stuff and this third round is no exception. However, what stood out this time was the young man who manages the location in Parker, CO, his name is Ty. I expect to have a connection with say, a wedding planner, my real estate agent, or someone providing the eulogy at a memorial service, but not something I expect from the person renting me a 5x15 storage space. I was met with a smile, someone who not only listened to what I needed but also why I needed it. It was simply a moment of old school customer service between two people. I hope that I don't have the need for storage for very long, but whether I do or don't, I'm grateful for Ty and his kindness during this rough season of life.
