South Hill Storage Units On SR 161
Public Storage in South Hill is a great place for customers to find affordable self storage space on the south side of Puyallup.
Situated on the east side of State Route 161/Meridian Avenue just south of 160th Street, this facility features different types and sizes of cheap storage units, including climate controlled storage units, indoor storage units and outdoor storage units.
Right next to Pierce County Airport – Thun Field, a 5x10 storage unit is the perfect spot to store tools, flight gear and other runway-related items for easy access.
Families getting a bit tight on space in a home near Pope Elementary School or Ballou Junior High School can use a 10x10 storage unit to declutter the garage or the guest room, while a 10x30 storage unit is large enough for a business relocating to a new spot near the Sunrise Village shopping center to pack up everything in the office until the new workplace is ready.
Moving boxes and moving supplies, including packing peanuts, bubble wrap and packing tape, are sold inside the rental office, which is open 7 days a week.

03-23-2024I originally got a storage unit here because I checked around and they had the cheapest price for the smallest size storage unit that I needed At the time. I didnt have much stuff just one sectional couch, two end tables, a coffee table and a couple boxes. So I went ahead and Rented out the storage unit in South Hill. Two months go by and I receive a letter that they were increasing my My rental price $20 more. I was a little confused because I didnt know they would do something like that in the first place especially after only renting for a couple months at that time. Another two months goes by and I get another letter saying they were increasing it again 30 more dollars on top of 20 they had already increased it so now $50 more than when I originally rented it. By that time I was getting pissed another two months go by and now increasing it to $75 more then the price i originally paid when I first started renting it . which is absolutely absurd and a total scam!! I packed up my stuff and moved out immediately. Of course I didnt give them notice So still received a $300 bill After moving out of the unit for not notifying them properly! I know other people who also moved their stuff out after getting a dramatic increase in their rental price in a short amount of time without any warning. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!!

03-03-2024Ive been with Public Storage for about 4 years. There is usually no employees in the front main office. Its a hassle trying to get service here. Ive only seen one lady once this year in 2024 doing her walks arounds. My storage unit has been stolen from multiple times and the insurance that needs to be paid for from Public Storage doesnt do anything about it either even when I was locked out from my unit for about a couple of months and someone stole my entire unit. They did have to fix that situation. Since last year in 2023, my storage unit door has been getting additional vandalism markings.

02-28-2024Public Storage on Meridian is basically just stealing from people. Raising our rate from $57 to $108 and now again to $146?! This is insane. We will take our business elsewhere.
