01-23-2024I went to secure storage space due to engaging the large process of moving from my home of 25 years. Needless to say, I've felt stressed & overwhelmed. When I arrived, there were 2 wonderful ladies working that day, Liz & Tonya. They helped me settle & orient and got me set up and covered. They both went beyond good customer service to great customer service with quite a bit of empathy. I appreciate them both. The storage center, itself, is clean & professionally run. I highly recommend.

10-09-2023Up until this year I really had no complaints, except for occasionally when I tried to pay online their system would decline my card. I called them about it and they would tell me it was my banks issue. I had to drive 30 minutes up the road to my bank to find out that indeed it was Public Storages issue. I then went to Public storage to pay bill on their card reader and it was accepted. After having to drive to the business for about 3 months just to pay bill and complain about it, their system was finally fixed. Now again this year, they had a lot of associates leave. They had made a " convenience call" to me let me know my card was declined and payment was due. I was also told that if I came in to make a payment before 2 p.m. that I would have to drive over to the Dale ave. office. So now it took me 45 minutes to get there. On October 7th, 2023, saturday my sister, my granddaughter and myself drove over to Dale ave office from Bedford this time to pay my bill and it was about 1:30 p.m. when we arrived. The doors were locked, the lights were on but we couldn't get in. Another customer was sitting in lot as well waiting to pay her bill. We sat in lot for about 30 mins trying to reach someone. As we were sitting there, at 2:00 p.m. the lights went out and doors remained locked. No notes were posted on the door to inform customers of anything. We finally left but not before I called the property manager and left message for a call back. It is now Oct. 10th and still no return call. I finally got on their phone system to pay my bill with new card and it cost me an additional 10.00 convenience fee. I'm in the process of looking for a new storage unit to put my things at. Definitely would not recommend!!!!

09-28-2023Very clean and well maintained facility. I would be careful of thinking that this would be used for long term storage (over 6 months): 1. My rent increased 13% right before the slowest storage months (Nov). I guess they are expecting a great season the spring. 2. If you pay your rent a day late they will charge you a 20% late fee 3. This location has an issue with keeping regular hours staffed. Cannot use the bathrooms or carts as they are locked up when they are not there (not sure why the lock the bathrooms) Definitely will be moved out before the rent increases. Update: I don't believe the response from public storage shows they don't care too much about my business. Just found out they are renting today the same type of unit I have at the same price I am paying before the increase next month. This sounds like they are taking advantage of me as they believe that I will be less likely to move out due to my age.....
