02-11-2026I am beyond disappointed with the business practices at this location. I have been a loyal customer for over two years with a perfect payment history, yet I am being subjected to frequent and massive rate hikes. When I contacted the office to explain that these increases are becoming unaffordable, I was met with a "nothing we can do" attitude. It is clear that this company values profit over long-term customer loyalty. Extra Space is currently advertising my exact unit size to new customers for $39.00 while they are forcing me to pay $138.98 They are essentially charging a "loyalty penalty," knowing how difficult and expensive it is for customers to move their belongings once they are in the facility. If you are looking for long-term storage, be warned: the "introductory rate" is just a trap. Once you're in, they will hike your rent without remorse. I am currently filing formal complaints with the New Jersey Attorney General and the BBB to address these unconscionable pricing practices.
