Located to the east of Atlanta, Savannah is Georgia's oldest established city, with origins dating back to 1733. With a population of almost 400,000 in the greater metropolitan area, it's still thriving today.
In this historic city, there's plenty to do. Numerous dining options, including the iconic Publix sub, can be found just minutes from these storage units. Windsor Forest High School and Elementary School are also nearby, perfect for families in need of an easy commute, while Georgia Southern University's Armstrong Campus is close by for those pursuing higher education. For outdoor recreation, Joseph Tribble Park is just a mile away, as is La Vida Golf Club.
Paying almost 200 a month for the past 9 month for the smallest unit .When I arrived to get my stuff it was rat infested and moldy
Seriously...if you are looking for a place to store your sentimental and valuable stuff...consider anyplace else. We moved furniture and boxes into our climate controlled unit in Feb. of 2022. Everything seemed ok at first. At the time, we lived 6 hours away, so we were not able to make too many trips to the unit. In the Fall of 2023, we stopped by to get some of our items, and noticed there has been a rat infestation, as well as water damage. Several of our items were destroyed, and most everything was covered in rat feces. It was determined that the infestation had been from a neighboring unit, and the rats had spread over to our unit. Same with the water damage. A phone call and message to the regional manager went unanswered. We were livid to find out that it is not policy to notify tenants in regard to a known infestation and water damage that was discovered near your unit. We cleaned up the unit ourselves. This was in the fall. Today, the middle of Feb, we vacated the property for good. Upon entering the unit today, there were more rat feces over our belongings. Clearly, no effort is made to control rodents, and even less effort is made to notify tenants of possible infestations when they are discovered.
