This Brooklyn Public Storage is located between Wyona and Vermont streets, near Atlantic and Jamaica avenues. It is ready to transform the homes of Brooklynites living in East New York near Linden Boulevard and Highland Park.
The classic red-brick condos, co-ops and multi-family homes lining most streets in the East New York area of Brooklyn are big on charm, but short on space. Residents, transplants and students alike can make their space feel larger by storing unused furniture and seasonal clothing in an affordable indoor unit. Ranging in size from a small 5x5 foot unit to a large 10x30 foot space, there are more than 550 indoor climate control units here to suit all needs.
Moving carts are loaned for free to customers and there is free parking. Access to the storage area is via a password-enabled keypad, and a store on site sells moving and packing supplies.
The area is a balance of gritty urban landscape with some throw backs to earlier times, such as East New York Farms and Fresh Creek Nature Preserve, 42 acres of salt marsh along the waterfront. Local urban farmers, mural artists and business owners can find the space they need in this facility.
