Elevator has been out of service for a long time
Good, clean, good security.
Pro: Convenient location. Con: Poorly maintained facilities, Price hikes shortly after signing up, no attendant on duty, broken elevator FREQUENTLY, auto-pay through app is unreliable, 7 texts in 1 day for late payment due to auto pay not working even after manually paying, Sketchy neighborhood, getting out is VERY dangerous (due to parked cars blocking all view of oncoming traffic when leaving, load carts are minimum at best (clunky wheels, not repaired), no bathroom/Porto potty. More details: Ive been a paying customer for about 10 months, I wish I had time to move all my stuff to a different location/company. I dont expect much from a storage unit, but this one falls VERY short. In 10 months the elevator has worked properly 1 time. The elevator certification tag was reading 2 years out of date when I moved in. I have a 2nd floor unit, and had to haul 600lbs of stuff up the stairs manually, as an elderly lady was hauling carts of stuff manually downstairs. Upon calling customer service we were told its not their fault and there were stairs we could use. (Btw, nothing is their fault) There was 1 time I was so deep in the storage unit that I lost track of time, and left at 9:20pm (9pm is their close time). At other units the code works to let you out after hours, not this one, I was firmly locked in. Had to call the customer service number through google maps and read them my drivers license and other info to verify that I was me, the next day I was called by the manager of the facility (?) and reprimanded for staying so late, then I was called by someone at their office and reprimanded for staying late. The previous visit there I used my app as normal to open the gates, and received 2 emails saying that its faster for me to use the app to open the gates (huh?). The other complaint is nothing that can be fixed but I pulled my linens and winter clothes out from the unit and they all smell strongly like the storage unit, washing everything helped even though I washed everything when putting them into the unit. Right now I only stay because I do not have the time to relocate, but that will change this winter. I am not a fan of bad reviews but honestly there is no reason I can recommend this facility/location/company at this time.
Mike the manager is awesome! He is always trying his best to get ensure your satisfaction and with a smile nontheless.
