I had this very heavy toolbox and one of the workers Joseph came over and help me with it I thought that was awesome
Ben did a fab job of navigating all the process
Don't waste your money renting a unit here, if you leave in the middle of the month, they DO NOT PRO-RATE, if you ask for any money refunded you're not going to get it, I wouldn't recommend public storage.
The managers Carla and Ray have been very helpful, if you run into any problems, contact them and they will get you squared away. Very pleased with them.
The prices are good if you're looking short term. They increase 20% each year. Every August without fail. The space is clean and driving in is easy. Some doors you can get your own licks but others you have to buy the bolt from them. If it breaks or they cut it off for whatever reason, you have to buy a new one. Pretty sure I own my unit with how much I've paid. Would love if they valued their customers. The unit is elevated a couple inches and has stayed dry so far which is great. When I used to see humans working there, they were nice. It's not a very secure property with gates being unlocked and left open.
I reserved a unit specifically to store a vehicle (I was 100% clear that we needed a 10x20, climate controlled indoor unit for a vehicle and our reservation receipt reflects this). We scheduled an appointment for 4 October to meet the site manager and view the unit. No one was in the office, she was 45 minutes late for the meeting, rude and unapologetic. The attitude was very much 'so what?'... well lady, time is money and you wasted mine. Turned out there were no indoor units for vehicles (?!) but there was an outdoor bay available (Obviously NOT climate controlled) And when I called and complained to Customer Service about time wasted having driven over 100 miles to view it, I was told that the Customer Service Manager (Mike... Mark?) Would call me. I never did receive a call. You guys seriously need to sharpen your pencil and up your game. That's what I call pathetic service all round.
