When I made my reservation on Friday with a move in date of the 15th, I assume it is standard to receive a call where they ask a couple questions, because I received a call later that day. I told the person that called I wasn't committed to the size but wanted to lock in the online price, we wanted to see the units in person Sunday (yesterday). She informed me they are self service units and there is no one staffed at the sight regularly, but we could still see the units. She said we would just call Sunday when we arrived, they would provide the temporary key code for the gate that changes daily, and tell us the unit numbers to look at. So we arrive Sunday and the person that answered the phone the first two times tried to transfer us to the property manager, however, we kept getting sent back through the automated system. The third person to answer was very rude and told us no one was going to show us anything and basically we can pay for a unit or go home. We started to leave because we were getting no where and the customer service was not helping. I decided to go in to see the self service kiosk, maybe it had an option for a temporary gate code. When I tapped the screen someone from customer service starts talking to you, this lady was very nice but could only help us purchase a unit, ultimately we did. It seemed we had no other option but to pay to see or do anything, I wouldn't say we were happy with the size, but I hopefully we can upgrade without paying all the fees and for a lock again.
Ebony provided outstanding customer service in setting up the correct information for Storage Unit 18N885. She was very patient and articulate with me during this process.
Not that helpful or informative but the place was clean and looked secure.
Storage facility os ok. They seem to raise their rates a lot. Will be looking elsewhere soon.
bought out neighborhood storage, I had a trailer in outside parking with a car on it(for 2 years). now i have too rent two space one for car and one for trailer. but it fine to have a boat on a trailer, or anything else for that matter. o well their loss. public storage always has dumb rules that why i wasn't renting from them in 1st place. ruined a good storage company neighborhood storage.
