07-16-2025There's something I personally refer to as the "Chick-fil-A factor". Hopefully your wheels are turning over what this is. It's when someone's customer service, energy and enthusiam surprises you in such a way, the experience makes your day better. To date, I've only seen this happen (consistently) at Chick-fil-A. Believe it or not, it happened again for me at Extra Space Storage (Jiles Rd. Acworth Location). My grandmother passed away, and I came in, (sadly) looking for a place to store her furniture, memorables, and personal belongings. A second after walking in, I was hit with an enthusiastic smile and greeting from someone who I would describe as... well, imagine if a fireworks display was a woman/salesperson. Her name was Tania Garcia, and the way she handled my request, made me forget about the somber reason bringing me in that day. Come to think about it, her demeanor and level of service was actually superior to Chick-fil-A, because of one major difference. It didn't seem taught or trained. I believe it was simply Tania being her good natured, authentic self. She worked with my budget to find the best options, then did her best to leave me feeling like I got both, a good deal & great personal service. My only concern was Extra Space's periodical rate increases. Tania made them feel not only fair, but worth it. I hope at least a portion of my escalating rent goes directly towards her much deserved raise. Hopefully they're aware of the gem they have on their hands. I took some extra time in writing this today, just to reciprocate the extra care she gave me at Extra Space. Working with her easily shows you why everyone loves fireworks.
