08-28-2026We have used this facility for 10 months. They do not tell you up front that your monthly rent will fluctuate, drastically, without notice. We had autopay set up and out of nowhere we were charged $327 for a month, for the second time. A 10x10 unit over $300!!! When my husband called to complain, he was told that the price fluctuates with real estate . He was then offered a $25 credit and a lower price next month if we would sign a refusal form for the insurance. Ridiculous. We will be traveling back to Davie to retrieve our belongings. We were going to use a local Extra Space Storage near our new home, but after this experience, we will go elsewhere.

08-19-2026I recently moved out of my unit at Extra Space Storage at the end of my rental period and discovered a live roach infestation. I found pests inside my unit and watched roaches crawling in and out of neighboring units in the hallway. Finding pests throughout a facility that should be clean and secure was very disappointing, and it forced me to spend extra time and money treating my items before bringing them elsewhere. Be cautious storing sensitive items here until their pest control improves.
