04-24-2025Marcus is a 10/10 Public storage -100/10 Public storage sucks in general. We got locked inside the unit and had to call 911 tonight. The gate code they gave us worked to get in but we couldnt get back out. The emergency after hours line was a recording that said the after hours line was closed for the night. What???? How is an after hours emergency number closed after hours??? I called customer service twice and since I was t trying to rent a storage unit they just kept passing my call Around despite me telling them I was locked in the facility. Finally in desperation I had to Call 911. Even the gate keypad had a button to push that said it was for emergencies. Nothing happened when you pushed the button. My other experience with public storage 1 month ago was similar. We bought an auctioned unit one hour from home. Got there only to see a sign that said this facility is totally automated and a live Person doesnt work there. They too had a button to push. Again, no one answered. Finally after 30 minutes someone answered and said oh yes you Have to go to another location to pay but we are closed for the day so you have to come back tomorrow. I cannot tell you how mad storage. They suck. They are cheap as hell with no access to emergency help. Ridiculous and unacceptable. How how how is an after hours emergency phone number closed after hours. Stay away from Public storage suck there are plenty of other responsible and clean storage facilities.
