01-18-2026I cant thank extra space storage enough for a great two years of service. I started with a small unit to place business equipment in, & at some point ended up having to get a large storage big enough to put my entire life inside of. What was posed to be 2months , ended up being longer for one of the storages. The yearly renewal rates were very reasonable. Every time I had an issue with my code they were so helpful and quick. Neither of my storages had any issues upon move out. The move out was smooth and easy, & they sent me proof at end. I took one star away, because the only thing I didnt like is they make you buy their lock. I had a better one I felt safer about.

01-08-2026This ExtraSpace facility is very easy to access and well maintained. We had a couple of questions about the contract and Kandyce, the property manager, was helpful and knowledgeable. We have rented storage in other states and this one is tops in regard to being well managed. We feel our property is very safe here. Highly recommended.

12-25-2025The front desk lady named Candace was really nice, very professional and helped us a lot. When we arrived, we were told we were at the wrong building. It was late and we were very tired. She said she could give us the address of the other Extra Storage Space, but we decided to stay because she was so helpful and very nice to us. She went out of her way to help us when we were moving in and having a hard time trying to move in. She said, sometimes if you ask, someone they will help you with the heavy things. Well, our situation was getting a twin size bed and some other things off the top of the Explorer. I asked a man coming out of the storage building if he could help my friend because I'm vertically challenged. He said, "Sure, no problem.". The customers are always very nice and the building is Always clean. We were never pushed, there were enough carts to bring your boxes and furniture and anything else you can bring in. No, they don't want flammable items like propane or gas or anything like that, which is a given or any food products that could case pests of all kinds. That was a good thing to know things like that are not wanted and your protection is very important that you wouldn't get a surprise when you open your unit again. The climate control was nice because I had 2 off white leather love seats that were just bought and I know they needed special care. The unit was never hot nor cold, keeping my furniture in perfect condition, during the time they were there. They had a clean and working bathroom on the first floor which was always in proper running condition and always had toilet tissue in the roll holder. Nothing like making sure everything you need is right there for you. I would highly recommend the Extra Storage Space at 4951 Lakewood Ranch Blvd, in Bradenton, FL.
