03-10-2026Im writing this review in the hope that the owners of the Extra Space facility at the St. Louis Park Highway 7 location see it. My experience with the 2845 Harriet Avenue Extra Space facility--(that was operated by the St. Louis Park Extra Space owners) has been extremely disappointing. I reserved unit #143 at the Harriet Avenue, Minneapolis Facility on January 26, 2026 and cancelled it two days later on the 28th. I was told on that phone call that the reservation had been cancelled. On January 28, my bank account was charged $243. I called and they said this was a mistake and would reverse the charge. Unfortunately this didn't happen. To make matters worse, I was charged an additional $204 on Feb. 1 and another $204 on March 1. The Harriet Ave. facility was sold on March 1 to Mini Mall Storage. Neither Extra Space nor Mini Mall has given me a refund for a storage facility that I cancelled and have never used. In fact even after leaving numerous messages, I have yet to receive a phone call from either the owners, managers or corporate offices of the Extra Space or Mini Mall Storage facilities. I would appreciate an owner or a manager of the Extra Space facilities in Minneapolis or St. Louis Park to resolve this as soon as possible. In the meanwhile, I URGE POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS OF EXTRA SPACE STORAGE OR MINI MALL STORAGE TO LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR THEIR STORAGE NEEDS. ____________________________________ UPDATE: I just read the reply from Extra Space Storage and called and left a message at the number provided. Unfortunately I have yet to receive a phone call or a direct message from Extra Space Storage and will remain disappointed until I get a call and the $651 that is due to me is deposited into my banking account.

Also really appreciate Hanas (in the office) willingness to help and being so friendly. Definitely a top pick for storage!
