Ron was very courteous and thorough. He walked a great distance to show us our storage unit in the rain.
Absolutely unacceptable experience with this Public Storage location. I received a sudden 24-hour termination notice on my unit without any prior warning, evidence, or explanation. The district manager, Chris Canotal, accused me of connecting appliances to electrical outlets, which never happened. No photos, no incident reports, no emails nothing. Just a paper threatening that my property would be disposed of, which is not only unprofessional but also illegal under California Self-Storage Act. I pay my rent on time, and my unit is paid through the end of December 2025, yet they tried to force me out in less than one day with a baseless accusation. This location uses false claims, intimidation tactics, and improper eviction threats instead of following proper procedures. If you store valuable items here, be prepared for policy abuse and sudden, unjustified notices. I strongly advise avoiding this location until their management is reviewed and trained to follow the law and basic customer service standards.
My experience at this Public Storage location has been extremely disappointing. I received a 48-hour notice demanding that I vacate my paid unit or my belongings would be considered abandoned. Based on my understanding of California Business & Professions Code 2170321705 and Civil Code 1946, tenants are supposed to receive significantly more time and proper written notice. The short deadline made it physically impossible to move everything, especially since I store large household appliances. The unit was also fully paid for the month, which made the sudden notice even more unexpected. Other storage facilities Ive used never created such issues. I hope management reviews their practices so that customers are treated more fairly and in accordance with California guidelines.
The staff here is unbelievably rude. Any small thing turns into a threat, a warning, or an accusation. Instead of helping customers, they treat everyone like a problem. They walk around searching for reasons to issue penalties or force people out. The way they talk to customers is disrespectful and unprofessional. Definitely the worst storage facility l've ever used.
I've never dealt with a storage company that behaves so unprofessionally and illegally. Even though my unit was fully paid for, the staff threatened to dispose of all my belongings within 48 hours without following any legal lien process. This is a clear violation of California law. Their attitude is rude, aggressive, and completely unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs if you don't want your property put at risk.
I dont recommend this place to anyone! The staff is terrible at the slightest thing, they try to fine you or kick you out, taking everything thats inside. First, they didnt allow us to drive the truck onto the property to unload, so we had to carry everything for about 10 minutes in one direction and even hire movers. Then they didnt like that we were inside the storage for a while and claimed that we were working there, even though we were just cleaning and organizing our belongings. We never had such problems at other storage facilities. On top of that, because we sometimes spend 3050 minutes there a few times a week, they told us we must move out within 48 hours or they will take everything. They said this on a weekday, making it physically impossible to move our belongings without taking time off work.
