08-13-2024Update: I can't recommend them the way I used to. Check out last time was a major PITA and the staff member who was historically chill, lost their mind. I removed my stuff in a couple of loads so I notified them that I was out and she called back and said I needed to get the rest of my stuff out of the unit. Apparently she had gone by the unit just before I emptied it, there were four chairs I had in the second load. The chairs were in my car when she texted/called. I texted a photo of them. She insisted I meet her back at the unit. I insisted she go back to the unit instead since I'd already left and was a good 15 minutes away. Eventually she conceded and admitted the unit was empty. Not going back. How they were in the past: I've used extra space storage a couple other times and just came back after a brief stint with a large storage place in Pleasanton, which was dirty with unhelpful mgmt. At extra space all the staff have always been helpful and for only a few dollars more, it's super easy to access. They even opened the horrible packaging for the lock!! That little detail makes a difference.

08-11-2024It was a great 6 months renting a 5x10 ft unit. A few spiders took up residence but easy to clear them out during my move out lol! The facility is very secure with a front gate and very discreet for any who needs to rent a storage unit. Managers were a great help on maintaining the facility. Highly recommend Extra Space Storage.
