02-04-2026Ive had a storage unit at Public Storage for quite some time now, and honestly, the main reason I havent gone anywhere else is Pam. This location is in Lemon Grove, San Diego, and if Pam ever leaves, I might have to rethink my entire storage plan. Pam works here and makes every visit genuinely enjoyable. Shes always professional, always friendly, and always greets me with a smile and a hello. She lets me know to call if anything ever goes wrong, and you can tell she actually means it. Shes constantly hustling around the property making sure everything is clean, organized, and running the way it should. The place always looks great, and that doesnt happen by accident. I joke that I mostly come here just to say hi to Pam, but its only half a joke. The facility itself is solid. The fees are very reasonable, the units are climate-controlled, and its way nicer than other storage places Ive dealt with around San Diego. Theres always plenty of parking, the office hours are good, and the access hours are a huge win for me. Theyre open from 6 AM to 9 PM, which is clutch since I usually come after work. Most other storage facilities close at 6 PM, and with San Diego traffic, thats just not realistic. Bottom line: this Lemon Grove location runs smoothly because of Pam. She absolutely needs a raise immediately. Thanks, Pam, for all your hard work and for somehow making storage enjoyable. Five stars, no question.

01-30-2026Horrible experience, the person who works there seems to work 24/7 bc you cant get away from her and her negative comments. She wont let you use the dolly in peace. She puts her own rules on how to use the dolly and elevators which makes its super annoying when moving stuff in and out of your storage. The place the nice but the worker there really ruins the experience. Ive rented multiple storages from different companies and never had a problem with the staff like here. 0 stars if I could.

01-23-2026Shady area. My storage unit was broken into and stuff stolen. I had some valuables in there that were taken. I paid for the storage facility's own lock and it was picked. Some of my boxes were were cut open, PS5 stolen. Their only solution was to put an additional lock onto the unit but it's the same type of lock that was picked. Couldn't get the insurance to cover it because there was no signs of break-in. Any of the damages done to my property was on me. Someone is casing that place and ripping people off. They have video surveillance but are not taking any additional measures prevent theft. It's obvious the place is targeted by local thieves who can easily pick locks. Wouldn't recommend this place unless you use heavy duty combo locks. Don't use a key lock.
