Public Storage in Fort Lauderdale offers a great selection of affordable self storage units in all shapes and sizes.
Located on the east side of State Road 7 between Griffin Road and Stirling Road less than a half-mile off of Florida's Turnpike, this facility features indoor storage units, outdoor storage units and climate-controlled storage units. There are also rental parking spaces for vehicle storage.
Just across the highway from Seminole Hard Rock and Casino, and less than 10 miles off the coast, residents living in any of the multi-family housing properties in the area can use a 10x10 unit to keep everything close by that won't quite fit in a condo or apartment, including electronics, seasonal items and boxes of belongings.
Trips to Topeekeegee Yugnee Park, aka T.Y. Park, are a bit easier when keeping all the essentials nearby. A 5x10 unit can easily hold hiking and biking gear, while a 10x15 unit can fit larger boating or camping equipment, as well.
Families in Oak Ridge, Emerald Hills or the surrounding communities can use a large 10x30 unit to store anything and everything from inside the home, including couches, chairs, appliances, dining room sets and more.
Whether it's life on the water, life in the sand or days spent hiking any of the municipal trails in the area, Fort Lauderdale is a community that loves being outdoors. When it comes to the perfect place to store outdoor and recreational gear season to season, look no further than this Public Storage.
Troy Muy bien severos Gracias
I paid for CLIMATE CONTROLLED storage - and walked into a literal OVEN. The unit was so hot it felt like it was cooking my stuff. Im not exaggerating, it was HOTTER INSIDE THAN OUTSIDE. What am I even paying for?! My vinyl records? WARPED. My kids crayons and art supplies? MELTED INTO A GOOEY MESS. Photos and important papers? CURLED UP and STUCK TOGETHER. Even the candles I stored just in case? LIQUID. This was supposed to be SAFE STORAGE - not a slow cooker for my memories! If you care about your belongings even a little bit, STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. This is not climate control this is CLIMATE DESTRUCTION.
I rented a climate-controlled unit at this Public Storage, but the AC hasnt worked properly - if at all. The air inside the unit was hotter than outside in the Florida heat, like a sauna. I opened the door and was hit with a wave of suffocating hot air. Everything I stored - candles, makeup, electronics, even some plastic containers - was damaged or completely melted. Whats the point of paying extra for climate control if its not functioning? I expected better maintenance and some level of accountability, but staff just shrugged it off like it wasnt a big deal. If your belongings cant survive extreme heat, do not trust this place. Youre better off storing things in your garage than in this oven of a storage unit.
I AM very satisfied with the quality treatment and service I received in my visit to Public Storage. Even though I arrived close to 5PM, which is time to go home for employees, - Beth was there - already working with a customer; she kindly told "Ill be right with you". I patiently waited while she took care of the other customer, having in mind a thought that it was already 5PM and she wouldnt be able to take care of me, but as soon as she finished, she walked with me and showed me what I was looking for. THANK YOU for creating a nice experience for me as a customer even though it had to stretch your day a little longer.
Beth was wonderful. Very patient and friendly. Helped me a lot today.
