This Public Storage in Largo is a great place to find cheap self storage on State Road 688 on the south side of town.
Perched on Walsingham Road between 137th Street and Oakhurst Road, this facility offers several different types of cheap storage units, including indoor storage units and outdoor storage units, as well as the option of climate controlled storage units.
With the beach less than two miles away from this location, a 5x10 storage unit is a great way to keep beach blankets, chairs and umbrellas, along with beach toys all packed up together for long days spent out at Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores Beach or Belleaire Beach.
Plenty of apartment and condo complexes are found in Largo, which means there's not always a lot of extra room at home, especially for families who are downsizing. 02-16-2026PUBLIC STORAGE WALSINGHAM, LARGO My husband and I had the need for a long-term storage facility and we were very impressed with the clean, well-designed Walsingham Road location in Largo. Rex, the store manager is friendly, funny, gives great banter and wanted to make our storage experience a positive one! He was so helpful getting us a good unit, explained the easy access in and out of the very secure gated premises and could not have been more helpful if he tried. Since my recent visit, Ive learned that all the Public Storage locations are all corporately owned. 3,200 of them globally! Not like car wash franchises that some NFL players buy as an investment like Travis Kelce did or Mahome and his Whataburger stores. But I digress. I love the location, its perfect for us. The premises are always clean, I mean really clean. You dont see rubbish of any kind in the corridors. The building is eco-friendly as the lighting only goes on when they sense youre in the area. I light it up as I walk down to our unit, its like a Welcoming Committee of light! The carts can take loads of goods/boxes of all sizes, the elevators are huge and the restrooms are also clean and serviced. The area is very secure day or night. I dont how long well be needing a 5 x 10 storage unit but as long as we do, Ill be using Public Storage on Walshingham Road in Largo. Because of Rex. And its convenient, too.
