12-03-2025I have a climate controlled unit at this public storage. Since I have moved in I have noticed that it's about 10-30 hotter in that storage unit than it is outside which is crazy considering we're in florida. I have voiced my concerns about this every single time I am there during business hours and I'm told that climate controlled does not mean air conditioning. So I'm not sure what I'm paying extra for but it certainly is an air conditioning. The air conditioning has not worked in that unit since I got it. I am constantly told that it's being repaired and it's not running at all now it used to at least blow hot air so it wasn't so humid. The reason I went with a climate controlled unit was because I am storing valuable antiques that cannot be exposed to humidity and high temperatures But more importantly I have health problems That Make my body unable to handle extreme heat. Because of this I have been unable to work in my unit for more than 5 minutes at a time since I've gotten it.

10-12-2025I used to have a good review up because they instruct their agents to extort customers for a good review. The lady ASTRID working the front desk would HUNT ME DOWN each time i'd go to drop off my things, pushing & begging to write a good review so i did and it was up for 2 years. This storage isn't anything special and they keep hiking prices, used to be $30 and now over 100!!!! I can see STREET from holes of the floor in my unit, it's not even climate controled and gets so HOT every day in summer and you keep hiking the rent????? i also found a bunch of cockroaches in my things last time i went. There is never any agent working, the uber to Oldsmar i so expensive, how much more money would you like????? a million dollars maybe next time?????
