01-14-2026Shady business. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They sent a collection agency after my wife when we moved out (after we both notified management of our move-out date & paid in full) because the location manager that we gave the date of our move-out to forgot to write down that we were *also moving our stored car out* from our rented parking space the same day we would be moving our belongings out of our storage unit. So despite moving our belongings out of our unit + our car out of our rented parking spot *on the same day*, Public Storage continued charging us for the car spot. After we surprisingly got charged a month later for yet another month of the car rental spot (that we moved out of same date as our rental unit with our belongings), my wife called the manager and spoke multiple times, we were sent in circles by this location and corporate, finally I called her after weeks of no return calls and she told me she had made the mistake and not realized we also had the car spot she forgot to mark down as moving out same day, but since it was over 2 weeks from the day of the charge by this point (because we were waiting on return calls from corporate that never came) there was nothing she could do. Absolute insanity. We disputed the charge with our bank, they agreed with our dispute and canceled payment, now Public Storage has sent a collection agency after my wife. So gross. Avoid this business!
