08-20-2026I rented a space for $200 a month in Omaha NE at 134th and Giles. They were communicative, friendly and helpful! When I scheduled a move out, it poured and my truck did not show they extended it and took a partial payment over the phone, no problem! ?? what a relief! ?? but the fridge wouldnt fit! So yet another day and what?!? No problem! Guys if you have had a bad experience, its definitely due to the location management, not Extra Space Storage. Call Blake or John at extra space, and you will see what tries customer service looks like!

08-16-2026I rent storage units at two separate Extra Space facilities. The storage units were clean and well kept when I moved my belongings into them. The staff at both facilities have been very courteous and helpful. I was dismayed when I was informed that my rental rate at one of the units was going to increase from $80/month to $136/month after only three months. I called the Extra Space number provided in the emailed notification to express my opinion that the increase was excessive. I was called back after one business day and was told that the monthly rental rate would only increase to $90/month. I was greatful that the increase was reduced significantly. However, had I not called to object to such a large rent increase, I would have paid nearly double of what I would pay at other storage facilities. Even with the modest, more fair monthly increase, raising the rent after only three months seems a bit greedy.
