06-12-2025I rented a small space at an Ocala location over the winter. Each time I visited, the facility was clean and well lighted. Upon no longer requiring the rented space, I submitted my move out date, removed all items, and swept out the storage unit. Shortly after I vacated the unit, I began to receive texts, emails, and phone calls demanding continued payment. I attempted to contact Public Storage to remind them I had already vacated the unit and sent the move out date to them. I tried their chat feature (it never worked), wrote an actual letter (no response), and even left numerous voicemails with the location manager (live person never picked up...always voicemail with some multi-digit "name") but the harassment continues as I keep getting notices of overdue payments, threats of late fees, and other legal action. Public storage will quickly take your money and won't stop demanding more. Their system to contact them for billing issues seems to be ineffective or simply not working at all. I would not rent from Public Storage anywhere ever again and suggest no one else do either.

04-14-2025Have had a unit a year this July! Customer service has been on par and even little issues have been handled very timely and to our satisfaction each time! JDozier recently even helped us with app issues and had us logged back in within minutes! Highly recommend.
