Edited 12/2/2025 : After rent went up to $478.00 I looked online and saw the same size unit I had was now going for $160! After asking if my unit could be dropped to the current going rate and being told no I bit the bullet and rented a unit at the current going rate. That means I had to pay a new administrative fee and move my 10x20 storage. On 7/1/2025 I moved my storage 2 units down from my previous storage to get a better price. I mean it was worth it to pay $318 less a month right? Yea jokes on me because literally 2 months later I got a notice that my rent was being raised on 11/1/2025 to $215 a month. Are you serious? $160 to $215 after 4 months the rents raised $55 dollars? I'm done. Oh, and I still haven't received any word on my unit getting broken into when I first moved in. They just swept that under the rug I guess. *Previously posted - This place is an absolute joke. If you want to read the factual reviews about this property look up the reviews under the original facility name Central Self Storage. That was their name in June of 2023 when I started renting from them. My rate started out at $299.00 a month and I just received notice my rate went up to $478.00. Awesome, but its ever better when you look at their current rate for units my size and see they're currently renting for $150.00 a month. Like are you serious? Lets not also mention that the day after I moved everything in someone attempted to break into and rob my storage unit, at 2pm on a weekday afternoon in broad daylight and the camera on my aisle just happened to not be working and the onsite manager was conveniently not onsite. Thank god whoever made the attempt was a moron and ended up damaging the hasp so bad when attempting to cut the lock off that they made it impossible to open my unit. I'm still waiting now 2 years later for them to show me who allegedly followed another tenant in to wreak havoc on my unit. Funny thing is if you read the reviews when it was called Central Self Storage you'll see numerous reviews from past tenants stating the same thing happened to them. Then you have their illegal auction practice, by the California State Lien Law they are not authorized to auction your unit for unpaid rent until you are 58 days past due minimum and that starts the day after the rent comes due. Now most storage locations are cautious and give an average of 3 to 5 days past 58 days to be on the safe side of the law, which I know as I worked at a few different storage companies spanning 5 - 6 years total. No not Melodie and her team, they try to send you to auction illegally at anywhere from 54-56 days. Don't take my word for it read the other reviews before it became public storage. Its still the same onsite manager just a different name. And before anyone thinks my stuff got auctioned and I'm posting this review because I'm bitter? Yea no, my stuffs still there and hasn't been auctioned I'm just thoroughly disgusted with this place and have wanted to post this for a while. So if you want to rent somewhere that hikes your rent $200 within 2 years and that rate is 3 1/3 higher than the current going rate on the same size unit in the same location, a place that when your unit is broken into, in broad daylight, when the onsite manager is conveniently not onsite the camera won't be working in your row as well, and they illegally send your stuff to auction before the lien law allows then step right up!!! This is definitely the place for you. Oh and one more thing, I hope you don't have to use the bathroom while loading or unloading your stuff in your unit because their public restroom? Yea it isn't open to the public.
