12-05-2025My storage was broken into I was the only unit that was broken into miraculously after I called concerned about when I can make my payment by to avoid a late fee since I was out of state with no job. Right after that my things were taken. I had someone send me a photo of what was in there. When I actually got to my unit there was MORE items missing than what the picture showed so that just confirms it was the people at public storage. I lost so many valuable things. So much was taken even documents and things that I held dear to my heart. I thought I could trust this place everyone seemed great but once they realize youre not around I wouldnt trust them to care and protect your things. The insurance is a joke please get your own coverage in addition to or in lieu of. I lost over $12k of valuables. From all my kitchen appliances to devices to pictures and they took every single last pair of shoes I had. Over 60 pairs of shoes goneeee. Im still livid and this happened last year!!! What a horrible process. They dont care to answer the phone. Please do not rent here! They need to be investigated. Nothing can fix the pain and stress I went through. No money can make what happened right when all my memories are gone. Dont trust this place please. They were in on whatever happened and came back for seconds to finish the job when noticed I didnt have enough money for a flight straight away. Dont even respond with your lies I dont want to hear it! Damage is done
