10-28-2025Another update about ESS in North Haven. Matt does a great job as manager, he keeps everything clean, he's always helpful and patient and makes sure everything is running as it should. He's a credit to ESS. Matt was out of the office today and John filled in; we called this morning and John promptly followed through on our request to look into a refund due to us and he took care of it. Our only "issues" with ESS are not staff related or about the units but corporate decisions, e.g we initially rented with more than reasonable preliminary pricing but. . . corporate ESS raises the prices every few months. If you rent for four months, no problem, if it's for longer term storage which, unfortunately, it turned out to be for us: OUCH. Update from review two years ago below. The good news is that weve continued to have very positive experiences at ESS in North Haven, (though Im sorry that we still need extra storage space). Tichina is always extremely good natured, patient and helpful. Shes very knowledgeable and does everything she can to make things as easy for us as possible. We continue to be very pleased with this facility for extra storage. The store manager on duty, Kapil Verma, was extremely competent, patient and good natured, hes a pleasure to work with. He followed up as promised as he juggled five things at one time. Tichina, the regular store manager who was not available today, had been very helpful as well. She patiently answered our questions during several phone calls earlier this week. Very positive experience all the way around.
