01-11-2026I cant begin to express how accessible and easy this process was Ive been moving for the past couple of years and this by far has been the best experience. Brand new building and amazing staff. Check this place out before going anywhere else. Ms. Ray Reid has an excellent customer service and radiant energy that made this experience so worth it!!

01-08-2026Absolutely horrible experience at this location. We have multiple units with this chain at another location and they are the most polite and respectful people. This location was completely disrespectful the entire time we were there. The "manager" (Ray) was so rude and disrespectful. It's almost like she was looking to start trouble. Out of all of the places I have ever done business with, this was by far the most disrespectful and unpleasant. Very disappointed with this location. We ended up having to get the police involved just to get our stuff. Ray was the most unprofessional person that I have ever dealt with in all my years of business. Maybe she had an off day or something but I wouldn't advise anyone to use this facility.

01-08-2026This facility is clean, well-lit, secure, and climate-controlledeverything stays in perfect condition through Alabamas humid summers. What makes it exceptional is the on-site manager, Ms. Ray Reid. Shes incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Ms. Reid remembers customers by name, offers practical storage advice, responds quickly to any concerns, and runs the place with warmth and efficiency. In an industry full of impersonal experiences, Ms. Reid makes you feel valued and well cared for. Highly recommend this locationespecially because of her! 5 stars!

12-24-2025This is my first time renting a storage unit. My home is being renovated in March so I decided to get a jump on starting the moving process and after doing some research I decided to rent w/ LifeStorage. I was able to do the entire rental process online, I viewed the available spaces, compared the cost & once I choose the best space for my needs I was able to complete the rental process seamlessly all online, once that was completed and I made the payment all I had to do was drive to the storage facility and pick up my welcome packet and keys, and that part was even more impressive. I was helped by the store manager whos name was Brandon and he was so helpful and informative. He showed me where my unit was, where to park for unloading, and they even have these great carts by the loading doors for you to use when hauling loads back and forth. The entire facility is spotless, they have great security and the space is very well lit so if you have to do any back and forth after dark it doesnt feel sketchy. I have yet to move anything into my unit, that starts tomorrow but I wanted to write a review just based on how impressed I was w/ the fantastic customer service I received from Brandon, the store manager, and w/ the ease w/ which I was able to go thru the rental process. I just wanted to take a minute to say how pleased I was and how confident I feel that my property will be safe and well stored during the time Im using the Life Storage facilities. That peace of mind is something I really appreciate. I would highly recommend anyone looking to store there belongings give this location and Brandon a call, they will get you taken care of. Thanks again for doing a great job! 1/4/25 Im adding an update to my original review bc I wanted to add how my experience has been after almost a year renting a storage space w/ Life Storage aka Extea Space Storage on North Parkway. I am still as impressed and pleased w/ the quality of customer service and the space provided by them. Since Ive been renting storage here, Ive moved units twice, once downsizing amd once for better suited location, both times it has been completely seedless and easy, and the employees Ive dealt w/ are stellar, like really above and beyond. Since Ive been here the original manager Brandon, who was amazing, has since moved to another location to manage, and Kaytlyn has been my main point of contact anytime Ive needed help, etc. and she has consistently provided unparalleled, exceptional customer service. Anytime Ive needed help w/ something or had an issue she has gone above and beyond to help w/ whatever was needed and always providing a better solution than what Id even anticipated. I have to assume this is a really good company to work for based souly on the quality of employees they have. These days customer service isnt always as abundant as it might have once been, but I continue to be impressed and appreciative at the outstanding service provided by Kaytlyn and others that work at Extra Space Storage and I cant recommend them enough if your in the market for a storage unit either short or long term, you wont be disappointed w/ your experience. Thank you!!
