05-03-2026I wasnt planning on a reservation. I was only interested in getting prices and want to know if I could stop by to see the units but the customer service person was very pushy and tried to tie me to some sort of sale. Come to find out after speaking to Nancy that he did not book me for an appointment, like he said he was going to do, to see the unit but rather he fraudulently put me in a lease agreement that I did not give him permission to do. Im happy and glad that I met with Nancy who was genuinely honest and helpful. She was very kind and stayed late to show me the different units and gave me pricing options. Because of Nancy I went ahead and took the reservation for one of the unit. I highly recommended anyone needing storage units to go see Nancy. Youll be glad you did, like me.

04-05-2026TERRIBLE FACILITY, PROPERTY MANAGER AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. Public storage = Extra Space Storage = TLDR: I paid $292.53 online for a unit on 3/31. Called to cancel & property manager said theyd move me out. 4/1 account is still open; so I moved out on the app. They refuse to refund me- even when I never even went to the property. > I recommend Extra Space Storage at 5580 Okeechobee Blvd West Palm Beach, Florida FL 33417 for better customer service and handling of $ (tell Calada I said hi, shes the best) Long story: I booked a 10x30 unit, with move in date set 3/31. I called to let them know the unit was not big enough and I found another facility to accommodate my needs -because public storage couldnt. The property manager said shed move me out and close the account. 4/1 I saw the account still open so I moved out/closed it on the app. I called and asked about a refund, they rudely said someone would reach out within 72 hours. -No one did.- 4/6 I follow up about the refund because I never even showed up to the property and paid $292.53. They, again rudely, said that I was not entitled to a full refund, because I moved out on the app 4/1 and not 3/31 (the move in date) and hung up on me. Regardless of me not even showing up to the property. When I called my bank and started a dispute, even the manager said that what Public Storage did to me was shady. Ill never recommend public storage to anyone, in fact, Ill be telling people to stay away and recommend another facility. I went & rented from Extra Space Storage at 5580 Okeechobee Blvd West Palm Beach, Florida FL 33417 The property manager Calada is such a sweet person! Total opposite of the disgruntled property manager at public storage. When I went to move out early (at Extra Space), Calada happily and quickly pro rated the rent for me. Extra Space Storage was a breath of fresh air after my horrible experience at public storage. I recommend going there if you need a unit! Ill also be leaving this review under every Public Storage location in Palm Beach County.
