Storage units in Orange are located between Glassell and Batavia streets about equidistant from the 55 and 57 freeways and just a bit north of the 22. Indoor storage units, climate controlled storage units and outdoor units with drive-up access are on-site in a variety of useful sizes. Just look for our Public Storage Orange rollup doors for self storage close to Chapman University, Angel Stadium and the Honda Center.
Chapman University students needing more elbow room in tight living quarters can use a cheap 5x5 storage unit for storing off-season clothes, books and study materials not immediately needed for classes or fun. Golf club storage tucks into these small storage solutions, too.
California Elementary School families looking to declutter can store everyone's recreational gear in a 5x10 storage unit. Behind the athletic equipment, fishing tackle, beach umbrellas, body boards and sand chairs, store holiday decor and off-season garments.
If you are expecting a new member of the household, clear out space with a 5x15 storage unit. These storage rentals will hold two rooms full of furnishings and are great if you are renting your place out short-term and need to clear the decks. Bike storage of all kinds fits nicely in these long storage spaces.
Orange Villas residents and others sharing a place nearby can store duplicate furniture in a 10x10 storage unit, including couches, entertainment centers, dining sets and extra kitchen gadgets. This size storage rental is great if you are downsizing, allowing you to keep furniture, lamps, mirrors, decor and clothing in one spot while you make decisions on what to keep and what to pass along.
An outdoor 10x15 storage unit is ideal for stowing long kayaks and standup paddleboards because the drive-up access makes it easy to load and unload for frequent paddling excursions in Newport Harbor. There will be plenty of room to pack in camping and fishing gear along with your oars and paddles. This is a great storage option for clearing out the garage and parking the cars inside once again.
Homeowners near Old Towne Orange planning a remodel can store five rooms of furnishings in a 10x20 storage unit or six rooms in a 10x25 storage unit. Either of these large storage rentals can accommodate the contents of a three-bedroom home if you are between residences or new to Orange and still house hunting.
For larger renovation projects or when you are moving from a very big home, an extra-large 10x30 storage unit should be a good fit. Capable of holding seven-plus rooms of furnishings, these storage rentals are about the size of a two-car garage.
Orange Public Storage has a range of options to meet your storage needs.

Trace was very easy to work with, was helpful and made things go smoothly.
I had a wonderful experience today with Robin. He showed me two spaces and helped me determine which was the right one. I appreciate it.
I would like to share my experience with the staff at the Collins, Orange CA facility during a very difficult time during the Lock Down of Bldg B at the Collins Orange CA. The staff could not have been more helpful providing me all updates of Bldg B status. Id like to personally thank Trace for going the extra mile to provide all the assistance day to day during this difficult time. Trace has been very supportive of our situation. My daughter who rents the unit lives outside the country and I (father) have been receiving great updates from Trace. We look forward to working with Trace, a model employee and all the staff moving forward. Thank you again Trace and the team for all your support.
If you can store your possessions elsewhere I would recommend that you do it. Public Storage is greedy and when you have two or more units with them, do you get a discount? No! Not at all. Due to a fire in a building (July 23, 2025) across from where my storage unit is located, I have not been able to access my unit AT ALL. In other words I don't know if my possessions are smoke or water damaged. I also cannot access my furniture for my home. The area has been screened off by Public Storage and there is a pile of debris that has to be removed. That's it. No big deal, right? It has taken weeks to get the debris removed which is the easiest problem to resolve. This Public Storage conducts business badly and customers suffer because of it. DON'T STORE YOUR THINGS HERE.
I had a great experience at this Public Storage location. Bryan was incredibly professional, helpful, and welcoming. He took the time to show me around, answer all my questions, and made the whole process quick and easy. What stood out the most was how fast and productive he waswhile still being friendly and thorough. The facility itself is super clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend!
These past few days have been a nightmare to deal with the people in the front. I've gotten yelled at, been rude to and have been rushed out of the property before the store hours. It's barely 6pm and they are kicking everybody out. Not only that but they threaten you by saying that they will call the police for trespassing. It's absolutely ridiculous how inconvenient it is to have to check in the front and then make you leave at 6pm. I'm aware there was a fire but how is that the customers fault. There was also no access to the storage facility during the investigation which I understand but they could have credit those days onto the account instead they are charging me for staying over my month. Which I could have gotten out before my month was over if it weren't for the fire incident. Tiona has not gone out of her way to make this situation accommodating and Trey was being rude and had a nasty attitude with me. Its really not fair how they are handling this situation. I'm very displeased and disappointed on this facility.
