03-01-2026Overall bad experience dealing with this place. We chose this facility purely out of convenience because we live so close. Almost every other storage unit allows 24/7 access to customers. Not here. I left the exit gate at 9:01pm (hours are until 9pm) and had the nastiest email, text, AND voicemail on my phone the next day stating their hours and how I need to be off the property by 9. Well now you can add the 24/7 access for the bargain price of $50/month (previously $30 a month). Absolute rip off. Prices go up monthly! There was a glitch with my account on the Public storage app at one point so I couldnt get through the gate using my phone. I went into the office hoping they could look up our gate access code and give it to me. The rude woman at the counter said that the account only listed a first name with no last name (how does that even happen?) and so she couldnt give me any information. I presented my drivers license and then she somehow conveniently had the account pulled up which stated my dads full name, but only my first name. We were both on the account because it was a shared unit. I explained that I had gotten married since renting the unit and my last name changed. She didnt believe any of that and said if this Victoria character wanted to actually come up there and speak to her in person then MAYBE she could give the information at that point. So I had to go home and find my literal marriage certificate with my new/current last name and every single piece of paper with my previous last name on it before her unpleasant self would believe me and add a last name for me onto the account. All of that work with her to gain access to MY unit and then my mom went in 3 weeks later and a male employee had no problem telling her which unit was mine so that she could get her unit close to me. Real secure place. Fast forward to 4 days ago when I decided to rent another unit. Spoke to Evan on the phone who was very friendly however didnt have many of the details correct. Jessica called me to follow up on the reservation and was extremely rude and condescending despite Evan being the cause of my confusion as he wasnt overly clear on the policies and pricing at this location. We get moved in and a day later as we are taking a second load to the unit we notice a handful of roaches. We thought it might just be a few from someone elses belongings in another space and maybe not a huge deal. Went back three hours later and its a full on infestation!!! The floor is literally crawling. Now we have to somehow bring our items back home and deal with the roach issue. No one from this location will answer the phone or call us back. On top of that, the app and gates almost never work. There is hardly ever an employee in the office, you have a 99% chance of awful customer service anytime you call or go in, the doors only latch and lock half the time, and the ceiling insulation is falling down.
