I chose to move out after a frustrating and unprofessional experience. The facility manager refused to allow me to rent an additional unit at the same location, stating the advertised rates were only for new customers and that I would need to go to another facility. She later claimed a three-month commitment was required, and when I stated rentals are month-to-month, she hung up on me. I submitted online complaints multiple times and requested a district manager callback on at least three occasions. Customer service later confirmed that notes reflecting those requests were reviewed, yet no district manager ever contacted me. The only response I received was from a team leader who said he was only addressing rates, relied on internal notes, dismissed the conduct issue, and told me to submit an online complaint again even after I explained I already had. I was also advised to move to a different storage company to obtain comparable rates, and no adjustment was made despite a large increase and no notice. For context, I had previously raised concerns about this same managers conduct with district management in the past, but the issues continued. This was disappointing and avoidable.
