Atrociously bad handling of communication with and treatment of their tenants after the Dec 24th fire. They have been horrible about communications - one or two lousy emails. Phones are redirected to other locations which dont pick up. All access to the facility is blocked. They continue charging rent!!!! And theyre sending delinquency reminders for units that are not accessible a which may well be a total loss. Considering taking legal action against them. Bad enough their tenants items have been destroyed - at least be transparent and proactive.
My unit was affected by the fire as well and they canceled my account without even talking to me. I told them I had fire proof containers in my storage and they just told me my unit was empty . I think thats a lie considering no one has even been able to confirm this . Im considering legal action. I think they want to just woo their hands clean and let insurance deal with the matter. I got an email saying they will let us know when we can get access and the next day canceled my account without even advising me .
My unit was destroyed in the fire here and Im heartbroken. Im looking for other tenants who went through the same thing and may need legal support or answers. If your unit was affected, please reach out , we deserve clarity and help.
