01-12-2026Paz was professional at check in, but 3 months after I signed up they almost doubled my monthly charges. I went to the unit to consider moving and there was a leak after a storm. The people were nice but it felt like predatory lending and I moved out. You can't double peoples monthly fees after 3 months and you can't allow leaks. I moved to extra storage by Harvey west. Newer facilities, they didn't double my fees, and it didn't leak water and damage my items.

12-03-2025I strongly recommend avoiding this storage facility at all costs. My unit was broken into, and several of my belongingsincluding expensive musical instrumentswere stolen. The facility failed to provide adequate security, and the cameras in my area were either not functioning or did not capture the incident. Staff communication during and after the theft was extremely disappointing. I received little assistance, no meaningful updates, and no sense of urgency or accountability. For the price they charge, you would expect basic security and professional handling of a serious situation, but that was not the case. If you value your belongings, I would look elsewhere. This experience has been stressful, costly, and completely avoidable had proper security measures been in place. The facility also has serious ongoing safety issues. On multiple occasions, I observed people living inside their storage units, engaging in suspicious behavior, and lingering around the property for extended periods without any visible oversight from management. This created an unsafe and unpredictable atmosphere for paying customers. Some individuals appeared to be using the units as makeshift housing or for activities that clearly should not be permitted on the property. Management seemed aware of these issues yet did nothing to address them. Management is almost never on-site when problems occur, and getting anyone to answer the phone is nearly impossible. Calls go straight to voicemail, and messages are rarely returned. When dealing with theft, malfunctioning gates, or general security concerns, having no accessible staff is completely unacceptable. A facility charging this much should at least provide basic customer support and consistent managerial presence. On top of the theft, I also experienced a serious safety incident while trying to exit the facility. My gate code suddenly stopped working, and while I was stuck at the gate, another customer aggressively tried to force their way innearly ramming into my vehicleand then accused me of not even having a unit there. This kind of chaotic and hostile interaction should never happen at a professionally managed facility. A functioning gate system and proper oversight would have prevented this entirely. Given the lack of security, the frequent presence of unauthorized individuals, and the absence of active management, it is unfortunately not surprising that my unit was broken into and valuable personal items were stolen.
