02-24-2026Do Not Rent at Public Storage - 1913 Sherman Street I am extremely disappointed with our experience at Public Storage on Sherman Street. Our unit was broken into, and three bins full of shoes and clothing were stolen. This has been incredibly upsetting for my wife, as many of her personal belongings are now gone. What makes this situation worse is the lack of response from management. We have left multiple calls and messages, and no one has responded or followed up with us. Customer service has been very poor during a time when we needed support the most. Security is clearly a serious concern at this location. The exit door was broken, and there appeared to be a homeless individual staying in the same row as our unit. This does not make tenants feel safe or confident that their belongings are protected. On top of that, this facility is overpriced for the level of security and service provided. After the promotion ended, we were paying $106 per month -- only for our belongings to be stolen. That is unacceptable. Please save yourself the stress, money, and frustration. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for storage.
