07-17-2025First I want to say that Kyle in the office is amazing, and very helpful. I thought that Public Storage was a trustworthy company when I stored my possessions with them for years. Sadly, I learned the hard way that this is not the case. The company had a system glitch several years ago that dropped insurance for some customers without their knowledge. I did not realize my insurance was gone until rodents destroyed my belongings. I filed a claim with Public Storage and Orange Door right away, but it took a week to get a response. I was told Public Storage and Orange Door wont cover the damage because I am one of those who lost their insurance. They would not help me at all! I would be wary of storing your belongings with Public Storage.
